Maulana Azad College of Education is a Co-educational College of Education in the state of Karnataka. The College offers instructions in both English and Kannada medium with a total intake is 50 of which 25 are Government seats and 25 are Management seats respectively.
Candidates must have obtained not less than 50% of total marks in the three years of Degree Course and 45% in case of scheduled caste, schedules tribes, Cat-1 and physically handicapped.

As per the regulations of Government of Karnataka, i.e, The eligible candidates during the time of admission are required to pay the course fees.
The pattern of fees payment for the complete Academic year.
1.Government seat : Rs. 10,150/- per candidates.
2. Management seat : Rs. 37,150/- per candidates.
Note:This is the existing fee Structure up to 2014-15. New fee Structure would be as per Government order from 2015-16 onwards.

As per the received order No. F.SRO/NCTE/APSO2430/B.Ed.,/KA/2015-16/65895 Dated27-10-2015.
As per section 14(3) of NCTE Act and in accordance with the regulation 2011 the Southern Regional Committee NCTE hereby grants Recognition to Maulana Azad B.Ed., College, Dr. Radhakrishna Nagar, (Teacher’s Layout), Mysore – 29. Karnataka for Conducting B.Ed., Programme with an annual intake of 50 students (one basic unit) from the academic session 2015-16.

University of Mysore permits the Maulana Azad B.Ed., College, Mysore functioning under its Jurisdiction to proceed with the 2 year Academic Course with an intake of one basic unit of 50 Students on the basis of the Assessment and the Report given by the Local inspection Committee (LIC) as Dated above.

1. Hard core course: Compulsory subjects of study which support the main discipline.
2. Soft core Courses: A combination of 2 soft core courses for the B.Ed., programme from the offered combination.
3. Elective Courses: A specialized course included to nature the Candidates potentials and proficiency.
